Masoor Dal Tadka

Ingredients

½ cup of masoor dal

1 medium chopped tomato

1 slit and chopped green chillies

1 to 2 tbsp Ghee/Butter

1-2 dried chillies

1 pinch of hing

¼ teaspoon turmeric powder

  • Rinse  ½ cup of masoor dal and add 1 ½ cups of water. Pressure-cook it for 3 whistles on high heat. Once the pressure inside the cooker drops, open the lid and mash the dal according to the consistency you like.

1 tsp of methi seeds
